About 71% of landlords plan to raise rents in next 6 months

A survey of residential property investors has found 71% are planning on increasing rents in the next six months with the average increase being about 6.5%.The survey of 1,032 investors is the latest in a series by economist Tony Alexander. He noted that 28% of respondents to this survey said they plan to buy another property within the next 12 months, which is a much stronger result than the 8% in his survey of real estate agents who said they were seeing fewer investors in the market.Another 26% said they are thinking of selling one or m...
