News publisher Stuff has received a takeover offer from a mystery bidder and could suffer “very significant losses” if it doesn’t wrap up a deal by May 31, a High Court judge has ruled in her refusal of an attempt to stop negotiations by rival NZME. NZME sought an interim injunction against Stuff's owner, Sydney-based Nine Entertainment, last Friday, which was refused on Monday.
