A former BNZ whistleblower who claims to have been sacked from her job for speaking out has lost an early bid to get her case heard by a higher court. Melissa Bowen says she was unjustifiably dismissed and unjustifiably disadvantaged by BNZ which did not protect her despite her being a whistleblower.The bank has been fighting the allegations in the employment relations authority (ERA), claiming she was genuinely made redundant.The details of the protected disclosures Bowen made back in 2016 have been suppressed.Bowen has previously complai...
