A 25-strong group of New Zealand’s largest companies has formalised its plea to the government to urgently allow the first shipment of 370,000 low-cost, rapid antigen tests into the country next week to help protect their workers from covid-19.Using medical supplies wholesaler and distributor Ebos Healthcare, the group has “written to the government seeking emergency clearance to import the tests within the next seven days”.However, the covid response minister Chris Hipkins told the daily media briefing on the current outbreak...
