Trustpower has been confirmed as Hawke’s Bay Airport’s partner in developing a 24-megawatt solar farm next to its runway.The airport has been looking to develop a solar farm for some years on underutilised land, but its initial joint venture partner, Central Hawke’s Bay lines company Centralines, reportedly pulled out of the project.Airport management said the new partnership will allow the development to move to the next phase, which will involve community consultation and seeking resource consent for the construction and ope...
