Unison declares dividend, looks forward to tariff reform

Hawke’s Bay electricity lines company Unison Networks has declared a $15.8 million final dividend for its shareholders, the Hawke’s Bay Power Consumers’ Trust.This followed a better than expected net profit of $33m.Earnings before interest, tax, and financial instruments (EBITF) were $59.4m, marginally down by $1m or 1.7% on last year’s result.This result included a one-off transmission settlement payment of $3m.
