Auckland developer Chenyang Wei put into receivership owing over $10m

Pearlfisher Capital has placed Auckland businessman Chenyang Wei into personal receivership, with more than $10 million owed by companies he directed. Initial liquidator's reports state that SW Taka owes $8.69 million and MM Development owes $2.95m. Both went into liquidation on Nov 18, 2025. BDO liquidators Iain Shephard and Jessica Kellow report that Pearlfisher Capital is owed $7.94m by SW Taka, which is described as offering hardware retail services but owns the land on 3 Corella Rd, in Auckland’s Belmont....
