Patterson Wealth has distanced itself from Chance Voight amid an investigation by the Financial Markets Authority. The market watchdog, the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), announced earlier this week that it was investigating Rangiora-based Chance Voight Investment Corporation, its subsidiaries, and associated persons. The group’s sole director and a significant stakeholder, Bernard Whimp, was known in the early 2010s for making lowball share offers.
