Genesis Energy plans to recertify one of its dual-fuel generators at Huntly to ensure it is available for back-up next year.The company runs two of the 250-megawatt Rankine units, but has had the third remaining unit out of action since October.Nigel Clark, the firm’s general manager of wholesale operations, said that unit’s certification had been due to expire in January.
