KiwiRail names shipbuilder for ferries

KiwiRail has selected the world’s sixth-largest shipbuilder as its preferred partner for construction of its next generation of inter-island ferries.The state-owned rail operator has signed a letter of intent with the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea.
