Spark New Zealand’s revenue took a hit as covid-19 border closures crimped its roaming revenue and its broadband and prepaid markets.Revenue fell 1.5% to $1.8 billion in the six months to Dec. 31, partly due to the loss of higher-margin mobile roaming revenue, it said. The broadband and prepaid markets were also impacted as border closures resulted in approximately 44,000 fewer people migrating to New Zealand in the six months compared to the same period a year earlier.“With borders closed for the foreseeable future, we have ha...
