Aussie scandal spells the end of SkyCity junkets.

SkyCity Entertainment says it will stop dealing with junket operators after a strategic review of its international businesses.Junkets are used to bring high value, international casino customers to casinos. The operators tend to recruit high-rollers, fund their gambling and collect whatever debts are owed. They also collect a commission from the casino based on the gambling of the players.The review comes hard on the heels of a money laundering scandal at ASX-listed Crown Resorts which in February unveiled potential links to international crim...
