Comvita’s shareholders are currently on track to reject Florenz’s bid for the company despite a simple majority being in favour. As at 2pm on Nov 12, 80.3% of shareholders had voted, with 53.7% in favour and 39.8% against. For the deal to be approved, at least 75% of the votes cast in each interest class must be in favour of the 80 cents per share offer.One of the interest classes is Florenz and its associates.
