After returning to profit in 2024, the pendulum has swung to substantial losses for forestry, property development, and plastic manufacturer Oregon Group. The latest accounts filed at the Companies Office on Dec 17 reported a $59.9 million net loss for the year to June 2025, largely due to the closure in October 2024 of its pulp and sawmill businesses owned by subsidiary, Winstone Pulp International, plus a loss in its investment in New Zealand King Salmon. The conglomerate’s loss followed a $921,804 net profit in the prior year...
