Sky has struck a significant blow in the battle for sports content in New Zealand, scoring the rights to the English Premier League from next season. The NZX-listed broadcaster has grabbed the rights from Spark Sport, which has aired Premier League football since 2019.  The Premier League is the world’s most-watched sporting competition, with a global audience of more than 3.2 billion people.Sky Sport Now, Sky’s online streaming platform, will host 380 live matches each season, beginning in August.
