The Ministry of Health did not openly advertise the contract for New Zealand’s covid-19 vaccination booking IT system and instead ran a closed procurement process.The booking system, due to go live next month, is intended to be a nationwide system allowing New Zealanders to book their covid-19 vaccinations.In its absence, DHBs have been using a variety of methods to book vaccination appointments for people in groups one and two of the staggered vaccine rollout plan.
