Arvida chair Peter Wilson has decided to retire immediately.

Arvida said chair Peter Wilson has decided to retire immediately after the annual meeting on July 2 and that director Anthony Beverley will take over.Wilson has headed the retirement village company since it listed in 2014 and Beverley has been a director since then too.Beverley also chairs Property for Industry and, before he became a professional director, worked at AMP Capital for 20 years, eight of them as head of property.The Arvida board will have five independent directors when Wilson steps down.
