The government and SkyCity Entertainment Group have agreed to extend the long stop date for completion of the New Zealand International Convention Centre by almost three years. Fletcher Construction Company now has until Dec 15, 2027 before the casino operator can rescind the contract under the NZICC Agreement, having previously faced a long stop date of Jan 2, 2025. The building company is still targeting completion in late 2024.The project has been hit by a series of delays including significant damage to both the convention centre...
