House prices surged again in February, jumping 5.2% from January and taking the annual increase to 21.5%.The Real Estate Institute's latest figures showed sales volumes were also strong, particularly in Auckland where sales jumped more than a third to 2,775, their highest level in the month of February in 14 years, from 2,061 in February last year.Prices in Auckland, as measured by the institute's house price index, a measure that takes into account different house sizes and other factors to arrive at like-for-like data, surged 6.7% fro...
