Movac invests $15m in school payment fintech Kindo

School payment fintech company Kindo has secured $15 million in funding from venture capital firm Movac Capital.Kindo’s payment and fundraising platform is used by more than 500 New Zealand schools. The company said there had been particularly strong uptake from secondary schools in 2025.The investment is within Movac’s Growth Fund 6 alongside LawVu, Re-Leased, Crimson Education and Hnry.Movac partner Mark Stuart said Kindo had been quietly flying under the radar and building a great product.
