Dunedin-based Blis Technologies plunged into the red for the six months to Sept 30, recording a net loss of $1.8 million, increasing from $1.1m for the comparable period in 2020.The NZX-listed probiotics company placed the blame squarely on the covid pandemic, with early product stockpiling helping undercut ingredient sales by 51%, resulting in revenues down by a third to $3.9m.Sales in its important US market were down 79%, although that was partially offset by a 37% increase in revenue from sales in Blis Probiotics and a new skincare range, a...
