Government-backed New Zealand Growth Capital Partners has committed $17 million from its Elevate Fund into a new venture capital firm backed by Alvarium NZ.Nuance Connected Capital is an Auckland and Tauranga-based venture capital fund manager targeting deep tech investments, run by Ngaio Merrick and Adrien Gheur.Its cornerstone investor is Alvarium, which recently announced a multi-national merger deal that will see it list on the Nasdaq.The $17m from Elevate means the firm has now raised $55m for its first fund, which remains open until March...
