The New Zealand dollar rebounded after the US Federal Reserve announced an unprecedented and limitless money printing programme to try to calm financial markets, and after New Zealand's government announced guarantees to banks to lend to small to medium-sized businesses.The kiwi was trading at 57.81 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 57.77 cents ahead of the government's announcement and 56.38 cents late yesterday.
