Oceania buys two villages for $57m, to buy adjacent land

Oceania Healthcare said it has bought two retirement villages for $57 million and plans to buy land next to one of them to expand.The retirement village operator said it has also increased its banking facilities from $350m to $500m.The villages are Remuera Rise in Auckland's Newmarket, which has 58 independent living apartments and 12 specialist care units, and Bream Bay Village in Ruakaka, Northland, which has 83 independent living villas on 4.7 hectares.The land it has an option to buy is 6.7ha adjacent to Bream Bay, on which it plans to...
