New Zealand is allowing financial products to be sold to the general public that have been banned or severely restricted in other jurisdictions including Australia and Britain.Regulators in Australia and Britain have banned one product called binary options and both have also acted to sharply curtail the maximum permissible gearing on certificates for difference (CFDs).The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) said it doesn't have the same power to intervene that the offshore regulators have.But the FMA also said it hasn't seen any evidence...
