Fletcher Building will sell its land at Ihumātao to the government, which today said it had reached a memorandum of understanding on its future.Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson said an MOU between the Kīngitanga, the Crown and Auckland Council will set out how to decide the future of the 33 hectare site, recently valued at $36 million by the council.Protestors had occupied the site for more than four years.Housing Minister Megan Woods said the exact form of housing on the South Auckland site was yet to be agreed. “It could include Pa...
