Ports of Auckland powers down robotic terminal after incident

Ports of Auckland has sidelined its automated operations and is ramping up manual operations after a robotic straddler hit a stacked container early Thursday morning due to a suspected software problem.BusinessDesk reported yesterday the port shut down automated terminal operations as a temporary measure in response to a software glitch.
