Fonterra Co-operative Group has moved quickly to cut its farmgate milk price again, saying strong milk flows are continuing to put downward pressure on prices.The latest cut to a midpoint of $9 per kilogram with a range of between $8.50/kgMS to $9.50/kgMS became inevitable on Wednesday after the ninth consecutive drop at this week’s Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction.At that event, Whole Milk Powder, which has the largest impact on the farmgate payout, dropped 5.7% to US$3,161 (NZ$5,466) per metric tonne, having fallen nearly 28%...
