Australian headquartered GPC Asia Pacific will centralise five of its Auckland-based automotive parts distribution centres into a new $34 million hub in Wiri to cater to “exponential” growth of online sales.The US-controlled firm operates 115 branches of car parts retailers Repco and NAPA employing about 1,000 people across New Zealand. GPC said the 28,000 square metre development will be one of the most technologically advanced centres in the southern hemisphere.Calder Stewart broke ground on the 5.8 hectare site on Puaki Dr l...
