Oceania lifts first-half net profit 22.2%

Oceania Healthcare reported a $36.9 million net profit for the six months ended September and said its underlying operating profit was up 19.7%.Because Oceania has changed its balance date, there isn't a comparable result for the same six months last year, but the proforma comparison was a 22.2% increase.The company said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for the six months of $36.5m was $6m higher on a proforma basis than the same six months last year.It said the aged care business continued to perform well despit...
