Restaurant Brands' sales rise 12.8%

Listed fast-food operator Restaurant Brands' sales increased by 12.8 percent in its third quarter.The company, which operates the KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hutt and Carl's Jnr brands, reported total sales of $239.8 million, up $27.2 million on the third quarter in 2019.This included trading from its newly acquired stores in California. The 69 US stores reported $13.4 million in sales from its first month under Restaurant Brands' ownership.In NZ the company reported a rise in sales of 5.4 percent to $115.9 million.
