Australian Quadrant Strategic Equity takes 21% stake in AS Colour from Direct Capital

An Australian private equity investment firm has taken a stake in New Zealand clothing retailer AS Colour.Sydney-based Quadrant Strategic Equity has bought a 21% stake in AS Colour from Direct Capital, a NZ private company investor.Direct Capital partner Chris Wills said the transaction is still conditional and is not expected to settle until February or March next year.The Australian Financial Review reported that Direct Capital will retain a 7% stake in the company alongside Quadrant and management.Wills said both percentages w...
