Sky TV snaps up NRL and NZRL rights

Sky TV has announced partnerships with the NRL and New Zealand Rugby League (NZRL) until the end of 2027.The broadcaster said the deal will let it show every NRL match as well as the annual State of Origin series.It also said it will show all NZRL-run matches involving the Kiwis and the Kiwi Ferns.The announcement comes six days after rival Spark Sport snatched the broadcasting rights for the Rugby League World Cup from Sky.The rights tussle between NZ’s two main sports broadcasters has been ongoing since Spark won the 2019 Rugby World Cu...
