The government will temporarily suspend flights from India as it tries to work out how to mitigate the impact of rising covid-19 cases overseas creating a spike in infections at New Zealand’s border.The Ministry of Health today said there were 23 new and historical cases of the virus found at the border in the past 24 hours, which lifted the rolling seven-day average to seven, the highest rate since October.Prime minister Jacinda Ardern said as a result of those spiking numbers, the government will suspend flights from India from 4pm Apri...
