Tourism Holdings’ proposed acquisition of Apollo Tourism & Leisure is looking less likely with the Commerce Commission concerned it will give the group too much market power.A research note from Craigs Investment Partners, released last week, said the probability the deal would go through had fallen from 80% to 50% – just a coin toss.This echoes comments made by Forsyth Barr in an email to institutional clients last month which suggested there was a “less than a 50%” chance the deal will happen.The market also doesn&...
