New Zealand and the United Kingdom (UK) have committed to accelerating their free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations with the aim of reaching an agreement in principle this August, trade minister Damien O’Connor said.The two countries held “constructive and productive” discussions and “are confident that the remaining issues will be resolved, with talks on track to deliver a fantastic agreement", O’Connor and the UK’s international trade secretary, Liz Truss, said in a joint statement.Negotiating teams w...
