Move Logistics will offer a coastal shipping service for inter-island cargo, a move aimed at bypassing New Zealand's overburdened road-based supply chain. The NZX-listed firm (formerly TIL Logistics), launched the service in late September with a shipment of water pipes from Whanganui to Canterbury, via the chartered MV Anatoki –  an NZ flagged cargo ship.Executive director Chris Dunphy said the use of coastal freight took the equivalent of four class 5 heavy vehicles off the road, for what would have been a 1,300-kilometre...
