Weaker NZ dollar lifts off its lows after RBA more upbeat

The weaker New Zealand dollar lifted off its lows after the Reserve Bank of Australia maintained its settings and reiterated its commitment "to do what it can to support jobs, incomes and businesses in Australia." The kiwi was trading at 66.00 US cents at 5pm in Wellington, off the overnight low at 65.75 cents, from 66.35 cents at the same time yesterday while the trade-weighted index was at 71.94 from 72.13.
