Vaccine uptake surged in the six days since vaccination centres re-opened, following a 24-hour hiatus as the country went into lockdown.Just 496 doses were administered in the first full day of the lockdown, but numbers have hit record highs for the rollout in the six days since.Tuesday was by far the biggest day for vaccinations with 80,000 doses delivered, bringing the total to 321,000 since lockdown started.The current outbreak has increased the urgency to get vaccinated and the ability for adults to bring their teenage children along for an...
