Electricity system operator Transpower is facing further rebuke for its part in the Aug 9 2021 blackouts.The Electricity Authority (EA), the system regulator, has decided to lay a formal complaint with the Rulings Panel against Transpower as the system operator over the blackouts.The panel is an independent semi-judicial body that oversees the Electricity Code that regulates the sector.The referral to the panel follows the EA investigating 10 potential breaches of the code, with the decision to refer four alleged breaches for adjudication.In No...
