Locking in a long-term international customer will be the key to whether a proposed hydrogen production plant in Southland gets off the ground, Contact Energy chief executive Mike Fuge says.Contact and Meridian Energy said on Monday they had received 81 expressions of interest from companies who wanted to be part of the Southern Green Hydrogen project.
