CentrePort and Picton tap into wine business

Wellington’s CentrePort and Port Marlborough will invest $14 million to develop a cargo hub and freight link at Blenheim, hoping to tap into a greater share of the region’s $2 billion of wine exports. The seven-hectare hub is part of a wider 32-hectare vineyard site at Riverlands, outside Blenheim, about 34 kilometres south of Picton.
