Recent financial-markets turmoil took its toll on Vital Healthcare Property Trust's $200 million capital raising with only 34% of retail investors taking up their rights and the underwriters left to take up the shortfall of 19.3 million new units.That's hardly surprising since Vital units traded between $2.86 and $2.935 on Monday compared with the $2.95 offer price of the new units.The units were trading at $3.12 on April 27, the day before the capital raising was announced.That contrasts with the outcome of the institutional part of th...
