A collective of religious organisations has filed a judicial review against the covid-19 public health response order on the grounds it negatively affected their rights to manifest their religious practice.The group, which is made up of 15 churches, mosques and ministers throughout New Zealand, claim the order unjustifiably limited Section 15 of the NZ Bill of Rights Act 1990.The act states that “every person has the right to manifest that person's religion or belief in worship, observance, practice, or teaching, either individually o...
