LPF, top barrister to fund Dilworth class action

Litigation funder LPF Group, Rachael Reed QC and law firm Wilson Harle have united on a pro bono basis to represent students sexually abused while attending Dilworth School.LPF said it will notify the school and complain to the Human Rights Commission as a precursor to tribunal proceedings. Damages in the human rights tribunal can be capped at $350,000 per complaint but the litigation funders aren’t ruling out moving the case to the high court if necessary.
