Fund manager Kelly Tonkin of Penrich Global Macro Fund has pleaded guilty to a raft of charges brought by the Serious Fraud Office.Appearing in the Christchurch district court this morning, Tonkin pleaded guilty to charges of false accounting, false statement by promoter and forgery. Each of those charges carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail. The charges relate to the management of Cayman Islands registered Penrich Global Macro Fund.
