Vector has lost a private prosecution against a construction company in liquidation, despite the case going undefended.Interim name suppression orders remain in place over the construction company which Justice Pheroze Jagose found not guilty of fraud under the Crimes Act.The company is in liquidation and the liquidators chose not to defend the case.Vector’s contract with the company was a cost-plus arrangement allowing a 3.25% margin, but Vector argued the company was doing discount deals with subbies to maximise its profits on the...
