MediaWorks chairman Jack Matthews has resigned in the wake of a damning report into the group’s workplace culture that says there are systemic, longstanding cultural issues that need to be urgently and proactively addressed. The chairman of five years stepped down from his role with immediate effect following the review conducted by Maria Dew QC, which found evidence of a “boy’s club” culture and toxic workplace behaviour at the group. Dew’s report, published earlier this month, highlighted bullying, sexi...
