Auckland Transport has awarded Australian-owned infrastructure group Downer EDI two major road maintenance contracts valued at $800 million.The contracts mean the dual ASX and NZX listed group will do roading and aligned maintenance for AT's central and north rural networks, for an initial five-year term starting July 1.
