The decade-long legal saga surrounding Megaupload and its larger than life founder Kim Dotcom was whittled down this week with Dotcom’s former colleagues opting to do a deal with the US authorities.Former Megaupload chief programmer Bram van der Kolk and chief technical officer Mathias Ortmann will no longer face extradition to the US after agreeing to instead face copyright infringement charges in New Zealand.That leaves Kim Dotcom, living in exile in his plush Queenstown mansion, to fight on as the only Megauploader still facing charges...
